Situated just south of the river Thames, the Old Vic is located in Waterloo, a very popular area of London and easily accessible by train, tube and bus. With the South Bank just round the corner, there is plenty to do before and after the show.

Car
The Old Vic Theatre is within the London Congestion Charge Zone, which applies from 7am until 6pm and costs £10 per day. If you are driving to the theatre after 6pm, then you will not be charged.
Parking is quite tricky near the Old Vic, so unless you are being dropped off, I would not recommend driving as the preferred mode of transport. There is some on-street parking near the theatre, but these tend to be controlled by a meter, which can get expensive. There are also a limited number of parking spaces available at Waterloo Station that cost £10 for 24 hours.
